Yokohama sculpture
This artwork was created in honor to a very special and important anniversary of YOKOHAMA who reaches the 100th year of activity having prestigious results.
The artwork was thought and designed from our Designer Mr. Paolo De Anna from Superfine Italy, and physically created from the artist Negretto Giuliano. The artwork is made by beaten steel, colored and deformed using fire and then embellished by the singular “spotting work” typical of the artist Negretto. The artwork represent a leading Yokohama product such as a tire, which is cleverly joined and thought with other irregular shapes, added to the perfect round shape of a tire.
This going to create an emotional water impact on the tire, the steel inserts and with the typical “spotting work” create the Drops who is the “recognition of the artist Negretto”. In the upper part a series of steel filaments to demonstrate the movement of the tire rotation with the impact of the air all to demonstrate reliability of speed and power, characteristics required for the product represented.
